In 2000, this Laurelhurst Residence had remained untouched for almost 75 years. While much of its original charm remained intact, its basic systems and standards of accommodation had not fared as well. After solving complex regulatory and geotechnical issues, this renovation added a three room master suite, replaced electrical and plumbing systems, and reworked the kitchen and basement. At its completion – much to the delight of both the owners and their neighbors - the project gives scant evidence that anything has changed.
