Front Entry

This seasonal residence for a family is located on a ski run at Whistler, B.C., Canada. Its varied plan provides special places for the family, their guests and a full-time caretaker; allowing for gatherings of many sizes while maintaining privacy for all. Natural vegetation on the steeply sloping site was carefully preserved, and the house has quickly become an integral part of its landscape. Extensive woodwork and carefully detailed masonry were executed with extraordinary craftsmanship, creating a highly complex residence with the feel of a traditional mountain retreat.
